Job Description :

IIoT Project Engineer will be mainly responsible for following tasks –  

∙Installation, commissioning and support of PlantConnect for various 

applications and verticals 

∙Establish connectivity of PlantConnect RTDAS with various PLCs, smart sensors and other equipment 

∙Configuration of PlantConnect  

∙Programming of PLC and HMI used as part of PlantConnect  

∙Interactions with customer engineers related to site setup including hardware, 

network, cabling etc. 

∙Troubleshooting 

∙Training of users  

∙Documentation related to above tasks 

∙Any other tasks assigned by manager 

Qualifications :

∙Engineering graduate in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent 

∙PLC, HMI programming courses 

Skills :

∙Hands-on experience in connectivity with PLCs using communication protocols 

like Modbus, OPC is mandatory 

∙Understanding of field cabling for RS485 and Ethernet communication 

∙PLC and HMI programming experience of at least one of these brands – Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, REPL, Delta 

∙Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication 

and reporting abilities 

∙Ability to build rapport with customer engineers and domain users

Experience :

∙1 to 2 years of relevant experience 

∙Work experience in IIoT projects is highly desirable

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
